After QB picked the paper up and gave it to him, Alfred opened it up and read it. His opened wide. He grabbed QB’s arm, “Let’s go back to the inn”

Quickly the doubles went back to the inn. Alfred looked up and down the hallway. Seeing no one, he shut the door behind him and looked at QB.

“The lady, she has an uncle who is a wizard. But the problem is he lives in different town miles a way from here in, hiding as a normal man who keeps to himself. If we can find him and give him this letter, he can help us!”

"Whoa! Slow down, Farmy!" Alfred laughed as he was dragged all the way back to the inn. Once they were alone in their room, Alfred looked over at the paper, eyes widening when he realized what it was.

"So, if we can get there and meet him, he can help us? Seriously? W-Well, then, what are we waiting for? Let's go, Farmy!"

Alfred nodded. Grabbing the bags, the doubles left the room, paid the inn and leave. Next they got Tony from the stable. Alfred helped QB on Tony when… “Alfred F. Jones! Where are you young man?!”

His eyes grew wide and looked around. His adopted mother was in town. Quickly getting on Tony, he turned the horse a way from where he been called and said to run like hell. Tony dashed threw the streets, out of town.

Hurrying over to the stables with Farmy, Alfred couldn't help but grin. This was such a cool adventure, even if it was totally weird, what with magic and another version of himself...

Hearing his name, he turned toward the sound before realizing that it was probably someone calling Farmy. He clung tightly to the older teen when they left town quickly, not wanting to fall off.

"W-Who was that?"

“M-M-Mother!!!” Alfred cried as Tony kept running. He steered Tony into a forest, dogging trees and branches. After running many miles, Tony slowed down and stopped. Alfred got off of his horse and scanned the area. “Well, good news we escaped. Bad new, we’re lost and going to get dark soon.”

He tied Tony’s reins to a tree then sat down next to it. “Dam it! No matter what, I can’t do anything!”

Damn, Farmy was really scared of his mom, huh? Frowning slightly, Alfred continued to cling to the older boy until they found themselves lost. Well, that was just great... But it was part of adventuring, right?

"W-What do you mean, you can't do anything? We're doing fine?" Alfred carefully got off of the horse before sitting down next to Farmy.

“She’s going to track us down and dragged me back home! I can not do anything without her permission!” Alfred puts his knees up and hands on head.

Alfred leaned against Farmy and sighed softly. "It's okay... She's not going to find us, alright? We'll have a great adventure!"

Alfred closed his eyes, “I hope your right.”

After sitting under the tree for a few minutes, Alfred stood up. “Lets continue, hopefully we can find a place. If not, then we can camp somewhere for the night.”

Alfred smiled and stayed silent, letting Farmy think things through. When the other teen stood up, Alfred got up and followed him back to Tony. "Camping could be fun! Maybe..."

Alfred looked at QB and sighed. “Maybe…”

He checked Tony, petting him. “Think we can go a more?”

Tony nodded. Alfred smiled and helped QB on, getting on after. They carefully left the forest, back on the road going a few more miles. About when the moon was high in the sky, Alfred stopped his horse at a lake near a forest. He got off again and led Tony to a tree. “I guess we’ll camp here.”

Alfred let Farmy help him back onto the horse before getting ready to ride some more. It was a chilly night so he was glad for Farmy's body against his own, keeping him warm slightly.

When they arrived at the lake, Alfred looked around, still perched on Tony as Farmy tied his reins to a tree. "C-Can we build a fire?"

"Sure." Farmy petted Tony as he finish tieing the reins. "Lets go get some wood QB."

Nodding, Alfred followed Farmy to the edge of the forest around the lake, picking up some sticks to make a fire.

While picking up sticks, Alfred heard movement coming from deep in the forest. He looked toward the direction of the sound.

Alfred picked up some more sticks before noticing that Farmy had stopped moving around. "Farmy? Is something the matter?"

Something was coming toward them. Alfred dropped the sticks, grabbed QB’s arm and dragging him out of the forest. Once out, he quickly tried to untie the Tony’s reins.

“Well, well, what do we have here?” a voice said.

“Two human boys traveling and stopped here for the night? Not very smart.” Another voice spoke as two demons appeared. “Not very smart at all.”

Startled when Farmy suddenly grabbed his arm, Alfred dropped his sticks and hurried after the older boy, wondering who was coming that would cause them so much trouble.

As soon as he heard the things speak, he felt a chill run down his spine and he clung to Farmy's arm. "Those... a-aren't normal people... are they?"

“T-T-They’re d-demons.” Alfred’s eyes grew wide with fear as he felt QB cling to his arm.

“Clever boy,” one of the demons chuckled. “So what should we do to them Stadnent?”

The other demon, Stadnent, tilt his head, smirking. “They’re both beautiful boys, twin brother maybe? How about we play with them first, Warcry.”

Warcry grinned as he grabbed QB, pulling him away from Alfred. “QB!”

Stadnent arms wrapped around behind Alfred. He started struggling. “LET ME GO!”

“Don’t think so.” The demon licked Alfred’s neck, then took a bite of his shoulder.

Wait, these were demons? Actual demons? Oh crap oh crap this was not good. Alfred clung to Farmy's arm tighter until he was suddenly yanked away by one of the demons.

Staring up at the demon, Alfred gulped and struggled to get away from him, not too keen on the idea of getting eaten by a demon or something.

Alfred screamed as the demon’s teeth sunk into his shoulder. No, it couldn’t end this way. He needed to help QB get back home.

The demon opened his mouth, “Strange. You look and smell like a human, but your blood says something else.”

Stadnent released Alfred, dropping on his knees and holding his wound. "Whatever, I'm still going to have fun with you before you die."

The demon smiled and lowered to look eye to eye, seeing the boy’s eyes were blank. Behind his eyes, a vision played. Like now, demon surrounded him, but small boy alone. They chased him as he ran, crying for help. He tripped and the demons got closer.

Alfred screamed again, closing his eye then punching the demon in the face. The demon few into the lake.

“Stadnent!” the demon holding QB loosed his grip.

Alfred tried to kick the demon when suddenly the other demon went flying into the lake. Looking at Farmy, both Alfred and the demon holding him stared in shock, the demon releasing his tight hold on Alfred.

Wriggling free, Alfred kicked the demon in the shin before running back over to Farmy. "That was so cool, dude! Now get rid of the other one, okay?"

"You filthy…” the Warcry leaped the boys. Alfred quickly stood up, punching the demon, sending it flying like the other. The demon crashed into a couple trees, knocking one down. He painfully looked up, staring. How did...? With out another thought the demon fled.

Alfred collapsed back on his knees, hand clutching shoulder. His eyes opened and looked up, “Are you okay QB?”

"I-I'm fine! But you're hurt!" Alfred was still incredibly stunned at what Farmy had just done but first he had to make sure that Farmy was alright. "Let me see your shoulder, okay?"

Alfred slowly removed his hand off of his wound. Blood dripped down his arm, bite marks deep.
